I really enjoyed reading "The girl from Widow Hill". The story is about Arden Maynor who survived a dramatic sleep walking incident as a child where she was trapped in a storm drain for three days. Now it is twenty years on but Arden is still struggling to move on from it, despite moving away and changing her name, and suddenly her life takes another dramatic turn.... I like how the story chapters are interspersed with newspaper extracts and interviews from the incident. These break the story up nicely and provide the reader with additional insights. On the whole I really enjoyed the book and found it gripping, particularly towards the end! The only negatives were that I found it a bit less gripping about two thirds of the way in and I thought the book ended a little abruptly. Overall though I'd say it's a great book that keeps you guessing until very near the end!
