A good psychological thriller with plenty of twists and turns. Good ending, very pacey book. Characters are well developed and the main character is very likeable - you really feel for her as she has been dealt such a bad hand in life. Her mum doesn’t look out for her, then appears to have died in strange circumstances. The whole book keeps you on your toes, question after question pops up as you’re reading, but I was so pleased that by the end you have all the answers you need. The story works well and leaves you feeling content with how things play out - no tears need shedding, just joy at the thought that the main character can finally move on and make a good life for herself.
