Worth a read

I took a while to get into this book, to be honest it was the same with 'the last house guest' where I felt the book was a bit slow to start and then all wraps up a bit too quickly at the end, leaving a few unanswered questions. Also I would have liked to have a bit more to like about Olivia as I didn't really feel invested in her as a character. Saying that, once I had got into the book it did get quite gripping and towards the end was a real page turner. I'm not really sure what the motivations of a lot of the characters were such as Bennett or Elise but maybe that's the point? to leave you wondering a bit? There are a couple of really good twists to the tale so I think it is definitely worth a read but I don't know if I will go for others by the same author in future.
