Ambrosia mentions she went to Wesleyen for the theatre programme. Something dark has obviously happened. It's giving my vibes of If We Were Villains but the group is all female... which isn't usually up my street as female relationships are really catty and superficial in books. I may have gotten very lucky or was just simply not running in that crowd, but female relationships at the 2 uni's I went to were not that catty. So, I usually have a hard time taking any characters seriously to get intrigued in the mystery. I like the way the chapters are set up in the dual time line. Also, this first look has reminded me that I'm grateful that when I say I don't want to touch a topic in my past, that my husband accepts it rather than asking Why, Why, Why. My first impressions of Adrian are meh.
