This is one of those books that you fly through.

Written with a dual timeline, then and now, it flips backwards and forwards dropping hints as the drama unfolds across both timelines. The nature of the story means all the characters are questionable but that worked for me as it just draws you in more. It is really the tale of the darker side of female friendship, the competition, the comments and how you really don't know what's going on in other people's lives. In the main it's a pretty predictable storyline, which I felt I'd come across in parts before, but it was still a good read. It is dark, the characters and the way the story unfolds are disturbing which is what keeps you reading despite being pretty sure you know what's coming. There are twists, red herrings and drama to keep you intrigued.

College mean girls with a dark, cruel twist.
