I think this book is personally quite relatable, which i enjoyed. Ambrosia is an interesting likeable character, and the choices she makes are understandable to us a reader. I really enjoyed the writing style, in particular the opening which instantly grips you. It gives you an idea straight away of where the story is heading, and so when it flashes back, we can pick up on clues or ideas as to why things turned out how they did. The plot is the kind of plot that i really enjoy, and the title sums it up perfectly, and its the reason i picked up this book. I think the exploration of character is great. Although exaggerated, the baseline personalities of the characters are tropes we can all identify in our own lives, which makes it a book we can reflect upon. Overall, i think this book explores great ideas in an action packed suspensful manner, which is a great read.
