This seems like exactly the type of book I will thoroughly enjoy. Dark and mysterious focusing on female characters with secrets...reminded me a lot of Gillian Flynn novels such as Gone Girl and particularly sharp objects.

I also really like the title. It's simple but creates an already disturbing sort of atmosphere.

I'm looking forward to reading more about the friendship that the book centres around. I love stories about friendships that are unconventional or 'rocky'.

Receiving a mail saying “We need to talk about what we did that night.” is an enticing opening from the get go, the style of writing too appears to be easily read. I'm interested to also see how the author portrays young women, as I am of a similar age and it is always interesting to see how authors view modern day young people, as this is something that can be quite difficult to get spot on.
