I enjoyed this book, however I wasn’t a massive fan of the characters, and did not feel connected to them, which made me feel even less connected to the storyline. They were not very relatable, which could be due to their unlikeable nature.
I did find the plot intense, and full of plot twists and secrets! At times it was completely unpredictable, and it was impossible to guess the next events. The concept of the book is also quite unique; something that I have never read before. I enjoyed how the book explored toxic friendships.
Furthermore, I really enjoyed the style that it is written in, and the structure. It was easy to read and flowed nicely. I experienced a mix of emotions the entire way through the book, so would love to read another book by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn after reading this one! The cover is also beautiful, and looks great on my bookshelf!
