Drama filled stories really intrigue me, even more so when the story involves elite college drama. The element of an obsessive friendship is something I haven't really seen before and sounds like an interesting new take. I love reading anything set in America, so I was intrigued to read this, especially with the American college element of the plot. I found the sample gripping and I’m keen to read more and find out what happened when Ambrosia was at Wesleyan. I found the writing engaging and liked the writers. I love books that start like this, automatically setting the scene and what’s to follow. It has a sort of eerie vibe from the email alone, you know there’s bad feelings there but the character is trying to remain nonchalant. I love everything about this; the title, the cover, the blurb and even more so when I read the first look! This is right up my street and I was completely hooked and intrigued when I read the start. I think this will be excellent!
