They are called the Good Luck Girls, but they have had anything but Good Luck. Sold at an early age to a ‘house’ that says they will care for them... getting their families into even more debt that will never be paid. These girls are slaves... slaves to the house, the mistress, blags and raveners, they all want something from the girls
They don’t all start out like this, when they come in they are ‘trained’ to look after the rest of the house guests. Reach and age get ‘promoted’. Not as it seems.
Clem on her first night accidentally kills a brag so the 5 girls must escape to save themselves from serious harm. This is a story about lies, friendship, survival and trust. This book was brilliant and kept me wanting to read more. I laughed, screamed and cried at several pages. The characters are amazing with their own personal battles.
Well written and definitely a page turner..
