I really enjoyed Helen Hoang's previous books, The Kiss Quotient and The Bride Test, so I was excited to get my hands on this one. It did not disappoint!

I loved the characters of Quan and Anna and rooted for them throughout the book. The story is told from both perspectives and I didn't prefer one over the other which I usually find when reading multi-POV books. I particularly liked the aspect of Anna's ASD diagnosis and her coming to terms with this. Not only that, Quan had his own issues to overcome and I felt both of these aspects when dealt with well. There didn't seem to be as much focus on the romance, but it was still weaved throughout the story.

This book deals with heavier themes than the previous two, so I would suggest checking for content/trigger warnings before reading.

As mentioned before, this book is part of a series, however I feel you could read this as a standalone.

Helen Hoang has become an auto-buy author for me now and I look forward to reading her future works.

Thank you Readers First for a copy of this book.
