I will start by saying what a book! Gutted I didn’t read the other 2 first but equally this works as a stand alone just without the back story. I have read this author before.
The main character is Anna, following her in love with Quan whom she met whilst having attempting an unsuccessful one night stand.
This is not a love story. This is a story about love.
Oh boy, this story is complicated !
Anna has a boyfriend but he wants to try and open relationship to test the water, sleep around.
I never really got this this when you have a perfect partner - anyway, Eventually he wears Anna down and she agrees to a 'one night only' thing.
Roll in Quan and things get messed up.
Anna a violinist her fame come to the forefront, when she posts her violin playing on youtube becoming an overnight sensation, now she is desperate that every moment she plays has to be perfect. Enter
Quan a motorcycling tattooed warrior and is totally the opposite to to prim and proper Anna.
Ultimately you would not think he was her type, or she be his.
They attempt a first date and a second and a third but things don't go to plan.
When you think things may actually go to plan Anna has a family tragedy, her walls come crumbling down that might push her and Quan apart?
Sometimes you have to lose people to gain people and this book is just that. Raw. Honest. Sexy. Funny. Heart wrenching and human. This was a great read and you can’t beat an ARC.
