First of all, let me start off by saying how much I loved this book. I read this from 3am and couldn’t put it down. I found it utterly brilliant.
First of all, the characters. I found the protagonist relatable (suffering from autism which was explored really well and supportively) as well as the boyfriend who was utterly adorable too. I was so happy by the end that they got together because it was so deserved.
I found the pull of family also really compelling. We all at some point in our lives have felt the pull of family and their expectations. I also found this to be dealt with really carefully and maturely.
Overall, I loved it, really really loved it. I will be keeping an eye on on more by this writer because she’s got a wicked sense of style and humour which really leaps off the page. I recommend this to anyone that wants an easy chic lit type read.
