More than just a romance!
This was my first Helen Hoang book, with not reading either of her previous two books and seemed worried at first as it appeared to be a series. However, this could be a stand alone book and I really enjoyed it. The relationship between Anna & Quan was dynamic and built on more than just their relationship and held some special moments for them both. I liked the two characters together and writing about men respecting women's boundaries is a big thing and Helen did this so well.
This book was based on more than a romance though, as it focused on more important topics with the main one being mental health. I felt that this was such an important read for this and highlighted a lot of prejudice and awareness and readers should be aware of this and other TW before picking it up.
I really enjoyed this overall and found myself unable to put it down and would definately recommend.
