I didn't know what to expect when I opened this book, I delved into it right away without reading the blurb but was instantly hooked. I think what I like a lot is how relatable Anna was to me, her struggles felt real and touched me as they reflected struggles I have myself. The other heavy topics discussed were beautifully written like the struggles of caring for sick family, suicide and depression etc. This felt so much more than just a typical romance. Even the more rated scenes were so touching to read, I think it's a fantastic representation of what healthy and good communication looks like when it comes to intimacy. With scenes like that it's often written in an aggressive way that appeals to men, but the love, patience trust and respect that Anna and Quan had for each other was truly so refreshing and sweet to see and read. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book, it was a pleasure to read
