I love the cover to start with - the mix of red and gold is so eye-catching. With the story itself we are thrown straight into the execution of a Portuguese doctor of the court, accused of treason. Then immediately after, the same charge is made against Nicholas Shelby. Cleverly done as we know what his fate will be, but we also know that as he is the central character he must, somehow, escape or at the very least clear his name. I've read the one before this and would so love to win this to continue the story of Nicholas and Bianca.
