This book is just... wow. I genuinely do not know where to begin. From the first glance I was immediately intrigued the dark red cover bounced out and I just knew the book would be interesting. I am a very keen historian and I enjoy learning about the Egyptians but also the Tudor dynasty and Queen Elizabeth’s reign as it was a big change to society as everything was patriarchal and with the religious divide between the Catholic’s and Protestants, Queen Elizabeth did do a good job with keeping things as equal as possible for the best of the country no matter how many problems and threats she faced whether they were either abroad or from home-England. It is for this reason I was a bit reserved on how much I would actually like the book because many historical fictions are wildly off and there is no ounce of truth or prescient while also being a good book. However this book surpassed expectations and was a great read!!
