have read two of the previous three books in this series (the first awaits on my TBR) and enjoyed them very much. Both were 5-star reads for me. ‘The Heretic’s Mark’ continued this winning formula of a highly engaging historical thriller set against the intrigues of the Court of Elizabeth I and the religious tensions of the period.
In it a great deal of the story takes place on the continent as Nicholas Shelby and Bianca Merton are forced into exile due to accusations of Nicholas being involved in a plot against the Queen. We follow their travels as well as events back in London where their allies seek to clear Nicholas’ name. Would definitely recommend this book series. Can not wait for the next instalment. May even read the book again very soon as I enjoyed it that much. Massive thumbs up to the author I will definitely keep my eyes out for more
