Set in Elizabethan England and so incredibly well done, s.W.Perry uses a fantastic amount of detail throughout the book. The writing style takes you straight to Elizabethan England, the book makes you feel as though you are there experiencing, living, senses every fragment of what has been written on paper.
The book from the onset is fast paced, the writer goes in to detail on characters in the book so you really feel a warming towards them and the unfortunate position they have found themselves in. The book from start to finish is overall very good, with a good consist story line, it is both easy to follow and memorable book, there isn’t an overwhelming amount of characters that make you keep having to digress back just to keep track.
I’ve since realised that this book is one of 4, i however haven’t read any of the previous books and could still follow. It is defiantly worth a read :)
