This book looks like it has a lot of potential for historical fiction readers but it just wasn’t for me. I found it really hard to get into. Probably because this isn’t usually the kind of book that I would read. The way the book was written was much to hard for me to understand and that in itself shows that I was unable to continue reading it. But because I didn’t understand the historical context I couldn’t quite grasp what the characters were saying. Maby it’s because this book was a part of a series that I didn’t understand it or just because i am not usually a historical fiction reader. And I prefer reading more fantasy romance genres. Maybe it was because the book was set in the 1500s and I don’t quite understand how people talked at that time. Of course this books wasn’t to my liking obviously but that doesn’t mean that somebody else may not think the same way so if you enjoy historical fiction books that I recommend this one.
