I really enjoyed the opening chapters of this book. It is very well written and very atmospheric.
I loved the fact it is set in an old seaside cottage, and that it is a bit creepy.
We know early on that Maude, the stepdaughter of Nell (the two main female characters) has has some kind of problem at home and no doubt we get to find out what eventually.
The book definitely has a spooky feel to it and I would love to know how the story evolves and ends.
