What an outstandingly atmospheric start! I immediately felt the hairs on the back of my neck beginning to stand up ... and by the time I reached the end of chapter two I was totally hooked! Even after such a short introduction the characters leapt off the page and so I hope I'll be lucky enough to win a copy of what promises to be multi-faceted and intriguing story ... and with the author having been born in Whitby how can she fail to capture a certain degree of spookiness in her storytelling!
