I tried my best with this book over the course of a week and I have had to stop reading it. This is something that I never do so I know this story is boring or badly written as I wouldn’t normally push through to the end. I got about half way through but I feel the story wasn’t getting anywhere. The story line wasn’t moving really and I feel apart from a spooky house which they could hear noises in nothing interesting happened to keep me wanting to read. The characters could have been good and maybe if I had kept reading I would have got to an ending which may have got better? Who knows? Anyway I hate to leave a poor review but this one is going in the charity bag and hopefully the next reader may find it a story they can enjoy. The cover of the book is great and looks really good and draws you in. Shame that can’t be said about the actually story line of this book.
