I loved this book.
A great start, with the reader questioning what’s going to happen on the next page.
I love the authors way of making you question your assumed judgements of the characters! You should never assume.
The old house within the story sounds absolutely epic, gosh I’d love to have my bedroom of a seriously old house - who wouldn’t!!! And by the sea to boot - brilliant.
The characters are very relatable and easy to remember who’s who and where they are.
The author really does draw you into the story from the very first page, and I love that I have zero idea about what’s coming or is going to happen, it keeping you guessing.
The front cover of the book is very striking and I would definitely have picked this up in a book shop and read the blurb.
Overall a fantastic first few pages and I think I’d like to read the whole book and find out what happens
