Nell returns to her childhood area to stay in a holiday cottage so she and her family can attend a family anniversary.
The house is not what it seems though and various incidents seem to occur which already haunt the troubled family that are staying.
The plot is well written and the atmosphere of the house and the area add to the disturbing story that is told.
The characters have their own troubles with Nell’s step daughter currently off school as she has had some troubles. Nell has her own demons, as do all the characters that appear in this book.
A very visual book for fans of a good ghost story. The book keeps you guessing what will happen and there are lots of twists and turns that keep you on your toes.
