Judging by the snippet I got to read of The Hiding Place, the story had an eerie sort of atmosphere that kept me on my toes. I enjoyed the author’s previous book, The Wayward Girls, which also had a similar creepy house setting. I look forward to reading the book once I get my hands on it and feel like it will be the perfect read for the autumn/fall spooky season.
