The cover is not one that would usually attract me as it looks like it might be more of a sunny romance novel than a crime novel. However having read the first impression I am hooked by the colloquial writing style which is so easy to keep reading, thankfully as the cliff hangers at the end of each chapter make reading on an absolute must!
I adore the crime writing genre and am also fascinated by the psychology of people, I think this topic of a woman being betrayed by both her husband and a best friend will lead to a captivating read.
Who is having the affair? How can they betray their friend? What has their friend done to them in the past? I can't wait to find out!
