A survivor brought low by illness seeks to decide what is important in life.

From the mean streets of Easterhouse to sun drenched Jacksonville, Johnny MacKinnon has travelled far and made a life for himself with his second wife Pauline. An ongoing safety violation inquiry into the ice making business that he and Pauline own and run has placed all that he has achieved and all that he holds sacred and concrete at risk. Added to this is a deterioration in his health and contact from his ex wife Sharon about his estranged son Corran and his newborn child.
This is a story of a family forced to either accept each other or face complete breakdown.
