I heard another author talk about this book recently and it piqued my interest so I was excited to find out more. Reading the description I found the idea of the lead character quite intriguing, an unusually educated girl in a time when most girls are not allowed an education. However this freedom does not last.
This does sound like an interesting book but I found the language a bit too flowery and elaborate for my own taste. I might give it a try at a later date though as I would like to find out what happens.
