I found this book a little disappointing. I really thought it was going to be a bawdy adventure of a girl who follows her dreams- and although that is roughly the synopsis of the story- it just fell flat for me. Ursula did the expected- making the typical decisions you'd imagine and it didn't make you think "wow, this is some character!"
I did like the format of the book, it was written as a journal and it felt you got to know Ursula more... but that didn't keep me hooked enough. I will admit, I did not finish this book. It was taking far too long to get through it, and in my opinion, you should never force yourself to finish a book that you're "not getting".
The book itself is beautiful and it looks lovely on my bookshelves, but I don't think it'll be a book i keep removing to reread.
