We meet many interesting and likeable characters along the way. The protagonist Ursula is an incredible woman. Her warm and witty voice draws you in and immediately gives you an attachment to her. She made me laugh and cry in equal measure.
I had to occasionally Google some of the language, which may be tedious for some but I enjoyed, it created a new level to the book.
An astonishing debut novel that has set the author a very high standard to meet in the future. One I will read over and over again and has pride of place on my bookshelf.
