This is a book from the perspective of a kid who survived a plane crash and landed on an island. I didn't expect the big jump of the plot from he survived the crash to how he lived. I almost got a bit confused. It started off with a good plot and continued with a bit of dark humour and twisted thoughts into it but then it jumped to the life of the boy. Honestly, I wanted the book to continue with the start of him surviving the crash or at the very least explain bits of it throughout the book. Like flashbacks. It was a bit wordy and lengthy for me. It was a bit torturing to not get back to the scenario of the survival of the boy. I was looking forward to continuing that. Though I may continue it anyways since it had a good beginning.
