My favourite thing about this book was how easy it was to read. There was hardly any drama or major stresses. There was lots of light-hearted happenings and it required very little energy at all to read.

The characters were generally fairly easy to like.

I liked the setting, although perhaps it could have done with a little more description of the scenery. This could have helped set the scene a bit more and given us something to reference places to.

I liked that the main character, Jen was older - that her life wasn’t perfect throughout the novel and that both her and Tom were relatively normal and if anything, fairly awkward when it came to social interactions!

The writing style was simple and easy to understand.

The cover matched well with the content of the book so I think people who picked it up wouldn’t be disappointed.
