I read the paperback edition. I thought that the cover with the lovely colours on had a really Summer feel to it. I can honestly say that I truly did love reading this book so much. It's definitely a good book for taking on holiday or as a summer read.
Jen is the main character in this story who I instantly took a like to. Unfortunately Jen didn't see this happening but her husband has left her for another woman. Things get even more distressing for Jen about her husband with his new woman, which I will keep it a secret why.
It does seem like Jen leads a very hectic life. Her daughter is like most daughters playing the music so loud that it drums around the house. Well I know that feeling only to well It's a headache coming on when my daughter plays the music too loud.
Jen's father had a fall so he now lives with her. Jen's father who is quite old is like some fathers who don't care what they say to who.
Sadly both Jen's children leave home making her feeling rather alone. I know there comes a time when all the children grow up and leave home, which I can just imagine myself feeling upset if my daughter was to leave home.
What more can possibly go wrong for Jen.
And will Jen find a new partner.
