What a joy this book seems to be. I am very keen to read more. Starting with recognizable parental pressure to procreate, the start introduces us to the main character who struggles with social situations, but is keen to make her parents proud. The writer makes us see that the main protagonist has Aspergers, but equally keeps the social awkwardness relatable - something that most readers will Have experienced at some point. The fear of sexual intimacy with the escort is understandable, the writer takes us back to our own first experiences and the fear and excitement are brought back to life. I love that through the direct, but clumsy analysis of someone with Aspergers we can find humor and truth.
