Not entirely sure what I expected from the title and cover of the book but once I started reading I definitely felt intrigued. I'm used to reading romances where the women are pretty much perfect, it's very refreshing to see a lady in a romance that is dealing with asperges - definitely very different. The storyline itself seems fairly predictable in the fact that she's undoubtedly going to end up with this male escort, but being predictable makes it no-less interesting for me and I definitely feel inclined to read on and see how Stella grows as a person and overcomes her demons. It's also nice to see the female character as the kick- ass and successful one in a romance. Definitely gives me some Sylvia Day kind of vibes, which isn't a bad thing at all!
