It’s no secret that I’ve seen lots of my close blogger friends talking about The Kiss Quotient on Twitter and Instagram. Having the opportunity to review it was very exciting as I wanted to add in my thoughts to the growing discussions too. Stella is thirty and her parents really want her to find the dream man to marry and have a family with. She is hesitant to do so, after some uncomfortable brushes with sex. So, she decides to find a male escort to give her some lessons into how to have sex perfectly. This way, she meets Michael who comes from a difficult family background and is lying to his loved ones about his work as an escort. Throughout the story, their romance between them starts to blossom. Stella also has Asperger’s Syndrome and is struggling to find herself as a person.

I really liked the emotional journey of Stella and Michael and finding out more about their ambitions and struggles. It was a good self-discovery aspect that kept me reading on. There were a range of characters that all had their own traits and personalities. Some I liked more than others. What I sadly found disappointing (and this is my own personal preference) was that the romance between Stella and Michael I found a little too erotic. The sex scenes were quite mature, I personally prefer sweet romances. Again, this is my own personal romance tastes but if you do like a mature romance, you will definitely like this one!
