So, I was initially drawn in by the cover and author (her work has always been gripping so I was very interested to see if a change in direction worked). I read a lot of historical novels and am a big fan of the medieval era and always think it is a talent indeed to bring this period to life. This sneaky peek ticks all the boxes.
