This is a good book. It is set in a tourist town by the ocean, where each year a big party is thrown at the end of summer. It alternates between 2018 and 2017 and is written from the point of view of Avery, who is a young woman who's best friend Sadie died in 2017. The story follows Avery's journey to uncover what happened to her friend. I enjoyed the story and thought it had a good ending, so it is worth a read. However, I would recommend reading it in one go over a few days. I read a little each night and found it quite hard to get into and hard to keep track of the different characters and storylines. I found that the story kept me guessing, which is always good. Based on this book I would read more from this author.
