All throughout this book, I could not work out whether I enjoyed it or not. The storyline was interesting and you got a good feel of the characters but I found the book slow to get into.
The story follows Avery and the Lomond family that she works for keeping care of their rentals. Avery forms a close friendship with Sadie Lomond, the youngest daughter of the Lomond house. After Sadie "commits suicide", Avery is convinced it was not an accident so she starts digging to find the answers of what really happened that night and untangles a web of lies dating back to the death of her parents many years before.
overall, I enjoyed the storyline but not the length of time it took to reach the good parts! Would still recommend it to others though.
