I don’t like to write a poor review however unfortunately this book just wasn’t for me.
The plot of the book sounded really intriguing and after reading the synopsis and first impression I was really looking forward to it and it was very well written. The descriptions really made it possible to imagine the setting.
Unfortunately I found the book very slow, although I appreciate a build up of tension, I just felt that it didn’t really go anywhere. I also found all of the characters very unlikeable and I find it difficult to enjoy a book when I don’t like a single character.
Overall I unfortunately would t recommend this book and if I hadn’t been reading it in trade for a review there’s a very good chance that I wouldn’t have made it to the end.
If it had a faster pace it would have been much more enjoyable, but maybe this author just isn’t for me.
