This is a very dark and twisty Thriller with many in-depth characters who each have their own story and monsters and so much eluded to from the past.
The story is so well written, the description is detailed and nothing is left to chance. That being said, it didn’t give anything away. I was so shocked by the ending as it was so well hidden, you might have thought it a theory but disregarded it as it seemed like it had been made obvious what the ending would be all along.
The book alternates between the lash and the current day and the story between the dates correlates to provide the details you need from the past to understand the present.
This was such a great book and I highly recommend it to any thriller lovers or anyone who likes a fast paced read.
