Wow wow wow i must say this book was a complex tapestry to unravel. I loved the plot with this whole story of a father's wishes to be carried out before his funeral. Jonathan Coulter stating that between his children (Liv, Noah & Chloe), they must decide what to do with his estate. If they can't come to a decision then it will be donated in its entirety to charity.
I am a big fan of the inheritance games and the movie knives out so this is definitely something I am interested in to read. As Liv, Noah & Chloe take on this unthinkable task in such a devastating time, true feelings and thoughts bubble out, unable to be contained; from this already I am captivated.

This was a very interesting plot. Grief is such a strange thing and elements of it were discussed throughout which made it enjoyable and intriguing.

Megan personally was my favourite character. Yes she did wrong in being the co-party to Jonathan's marriage breaking down, but she deeply loved him and stayed with him throughout his palliative care. Eloise, the ex-wife was truly one character I loved to hate funnily enough-so I can say there has been a great assortment of characters to pick and choose from to be my favourites and who should not.

A true character piece, what you think of each person changes at the end which is something I greatly appreciate as I hate 2-dimensional characters but this book helped develop a great storyline and character for each of them.
