I liked the look of this wintery cover and because I've been looking for winter/Christmas-themed books I decided to give this one a go. Unfortunately I didn't particularly like this first look at this story. It was good, I liked the writing, but I don't think it's the sort of book I'd rush to read. I can see why people would like it and those who have liked previous work by Rosie Goodwin or similar books to hers will probably enjoy this one too.
