I already knew that this book will be an enjoying read.
But this book was actually beautifully written, the authors description of the village was realistic and often very vivid.
The love story portrayed by the author was not expected. I often ship one couple but in the next page I say to the other couple!
The love triangle was played throughout the book and I was still surprised who Chrissie ended up with!
In my opinion I think my favourite character was Fred. His experiences were very touching and one can relate to him.
