This was in no way my usual read, but the cover was so beautiful that I wanted this book, and after the first look I decided to give it a try, I was glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised by this read and annoyed every single page. I found myself fascinated by this little village and it’s inhabitants, I was invested in their lives and the story the reader is being told. This was a really nice, enjoyable read, and throughout this book I felt like I was there, the author really manages to set the scene and bring the author into her world. I will definitely read more from this author, and I would also recommend ‘The lost lights of at Kilda’ to a friend, this is definitely worth the read.
