I really struggled to get any grip on this book or to really engage with the characters and the scenario. Maybe it just that I have had fairly lucky life experiences but there was nothing I could really relate to in the emerging situation and the characters were not coming alive for me. Hopefully, it is just a bit of a slow burn read that will become compulsive as time progresses.
