This book is pitched as an interesting twist on your usual romance or thriller. A novel twist about the social abandonment we all have most likely experienced in this modern age, ghosting. After supposedly forming this whirlwind, life-changing romance Sarah why the hell hasn't the man of her dreams, Eddie, called her back?
I was intrigued by this premise however the execution in my opinion was a bit flawed. By the mid point of the book my investment had simply lagged and after continuing on with the twists revealed some were really engaging others felt unnecessary.
I also couldn't muster much sympathetic or empathetic feelings for our protagonist, Sarah. After one week in my opinion you may have been better off listening to your loved ones and not go full private detective on a man who is still effectively a stranger.
I'm not sorry I read it but this book will not be making my top 50 for this year.
