"Imagine you meet a man, spend six glorious days together, and fall in love. And it’s mutual: you’ve never been so certain of anything.
So when he leaves for a long-booked holiday and promises to call from the airport, you have no cause to doubt him.
But he doesn’t call."

This book covers so many emotions and takes you on a rollercoaster ride which really touched me. The book deals remarkably well with grief, guilt, secrets and lies and makes you stop and think. At times I was convinced I had worked out what was going on, but I was pleasantly surprised to realise that I had been led up the garden path and there was more to the story than I anticipated.

The moral of the story is 'always tell the truth' and that past mistakes may come back to haunt you. It was a lovely way of gently telling the story of what happens when you try so hard to conceal the truth from everyone.
