Entertaining, witty and emotional. This book pleasantly surprised me. It took a while to get into but once I was I read the whole thing in one sitting.

After spending a beautiful week together, Eddie didn’t call when he said he would and Sarah didn’t know why. She’s being ghosted by someone she accidentally fell in love with but can’t shake the feeling it’s not as simple as him just brushing her off. Something strange, or awful is going on here and Sarah can't even ask him why.

When their joint past finally surfaces, we finally see the dark reasons for his disappearances and their struggle to overcome them.

Emotive and raw in places, this is very much a rollercoaster of emotions throughout, each character dealing with their own individual problems that any reader would struggle not to relate to. Despite all the emotional turns, it’s great for a light read.
